Is it too early to be thinking about the 2024 Super Bowl in Vegas? I mean, what are the plans for the city? How much are the tickets? Where can I purchase them?
We're starting to receive these questions, so we thought we'd address one of them, even though it's still more than a year away, a long time in Las Vegas years, especially with the Grand Prix happening less than three months earlier. A lot can and will be announced and/or changed between now and then.
But a source intimately familiar with the NFL tells us that three major events are planned: the Super Bowl Experience, Super Bowl Music Fest, and Super Bowl Opening Night. Of course, the game takes place on February 11, 2024, and most of those details remain TBA.
Ticket packages, however, are already on sale, with “per-person occupancy” starting at $5,000 ($10,000 for two) for the fully refundable deposit.
As for the ancillary events, one can get a sense of what will be on offer in Las Vegas from the next Super Bowl week in Arizona, with the championship game being played in the home stadium of the Arizona Cardinals.
Super Bowl Experience covers four days, with tickets for entry ranging from $20 to $60 per person, at the Phoenix Convention Center. The official description runs as follows: “Experience the NFL's football theme park with interactive games like the 40-yard dash, get star player autographs, take photos with the Super Bowl Rings and Vince Lombardi trophy, and visit the NFL Shop.”
Super Bowl Opening Night takes place at the stadium proper, with general-admission tickets ranging from $8 to $20 a head. But all that's scheduled to take place, at least so far, are the announcement of the rosters of the two teams vying for the championship and “exclusive live interviews.” Hm. Maybe those low prices compensate somewhat for the jacked-up rates that are sure to prevail everywhere else nearby that week.
As we're doing with the Grand Prix, whose details are slowly emerging, we'll keep our eyes and ears open on all the latest about the Super Bowl. Check Vegas News on this site for updates.
