Thirty-eight of them have been hit in Las Vegas, the most recent one at the Fremont downtown on August 8. It was the third time the Megabucks jackpot was hit at the Fremont. The jackpot has also been hit three times at the Wynn and the Palms. The record is held by MGM Grand at four.

The jackpot has been hit three times in Reno, once at the airport. It was hit once in Sparks.

Beyond Las Vegas and Reno, it’s been hit once in Elko at the Gold Dust West, once at the Oasis in Mesquite, once at the Tahoe Biltmore in Crystal Bay (Tahoe north shore), once at the Horizon (Tahoe south shore and now the Hard Rock), and once at the Ramada Express in Laughlin.

The largest Megabucks jackpot was hit at Excalibur on 3/21/2003 for $39,713,982. It was hit twice in a row at MGM Grand, the Wynn, and the Palms.
