Where Does the Orleans Shuttle Drop off Passengers on the Strip?

There is conflicting Internet information about Boyd’s free shuttles from the Strip to Gold Coast/Orleans. Some websites show the drop-off and pick-up location is the Fashion Show Mall. Others show it to be at the Linq’s High Roller. What is the correct location? And at the bottom of the answer is your link to the new poll on video poker.

Here's your answer, direct from the Shuttle Service page on the Orleans' website: "NOTICE: The shuttle drop-off location on the Las Vegas Strip has now changed to the Fashion Show Mall."

The shuttle from the Orleans and Gold Coast used to go to the Linq, but no longer. So any website that cites the Linq as the Orleans' shuttle destination hasn't bothered to update the information (if the content managers even know that it's changed).

Gold Coast/Orleans shuttle drop off

The Fashion Show Mall is a big place.  Is there an exact location/signage for the drop off point?  You have to walk far enough just to get to the mall itself. Why don't they just put the drop off point behind Harrah's where the Sam's Town Shuttle is?  It appears they can't find a permanent home for this shuttle.  And why did they decide on the Showcase Mall in lieu of a gambling establishment?

Boyd shuttle

The shuttle used to stop next to Barbary Coast (aka The Cromwell) years ago, back when Boyd owned it. That was a very convenient mid-strip location near Bally's. Then Boyd sold/traded Barbary Coast to Harrah's and they renamed it Bill's, then they created the Cromwell out of it several years later. During all that the Orleans-Gold Coast shuttle moved to different places, none as good as the old Barbary Coast shuttle stop right along Flamingo Road. Wish it would go back there.

GC/Orleans dropoff

The drop-off and pick-up area is on the north side of the mall by Forever 21. All of the casino shuttles use this area which has several benches and a canopy for shade.

I stumbled across a useful website: https://samstown.ridesystems.net.  It actually tracks the shuttles for GoldCoast and Orleans in real time! And thanks to Frank Zold for his excellent info on the pick-up point!
