Question of the Day - 06 April 2018

Q:

What will MGM do with the two rooms the shooter Stephen Paddock rented from Mandalay Bay?

A:

There's no chance whatsoever that the rooms on the 32nd floor of Mandalay Bay will reverting to their former use; after the shooting, MGM quickly removed them forever from MBay's room inventory.

An MGM Resorts International spokesman said in mid-October,  “There are no plans to ever rent those rooms, so they will remain closed.”

We've heard rumors that they'll become storage areas, but we won't even try to get official confirmation.

    I don't Believe it!
Eventually they will be renumbered so that almost no one will be able to figure out which rooms they were. That's my opinion.

    Renumbered
I thought the floors were ALREADY renumbered. Or at least announced as such.

Creepy to stay in that room? Perhaps, but eventually, people will forget. Or at least not be creeped out.

A copycat, or someone just curious and wanting the ‘same’ room, can easily get the room above or below to satisfy whatever they are seeking. So to keep those rooms out of inventory is pointless.

    No problem staying there
I'd have no qualms about staying in that room or any other at MB. But an outdoors arena with tall buildings overlooking it? Whole different thought process.
