Poll Preview: What developments and attractions that will open in 2020 are you most looking forward to?
The first year of the new decade was supposed to be the Big One for new developments in Las Vegas, but several of them have been pushed back a year or more. Still, this is the first time in many years that we've had enough selections to fill out even a short poll on the new things in Las Vegas that you're looking most forward to opening, which we conducted every year around this time up until the Great Recession of 2008.
Most of what's happening in 2020 involves convention centers, though Circa is reportedly on schedule to open in late December. So we're including the big deals that will open in 2021 as well; otherwise, this poll would be of little relevance. If you'd like us to include other new developments, such as restaurants, in the poll that will run a week from today, you can let us know in the comment boxes.
In chronological order of opening, your choices of which new Las Vegas development over the next couple of years you're most looking forward to are:
Wynn Convention Center
Caesars Forum Center
Expo at World Market Center
Allegiant Stadium
Downtown Grand new tower
Virgin Hotel-Casino
Circa
Las Vegas Convention Center (and subway system)
Neon Museum (doubling in size)
Resorts World
MSG Sphere
The Drew
