    poor comps
The level of comps has gone down and continues to go down. Everytime they change a players club it gets worse. I was at a casino in Laughlin the last week in aug. and a pit boss told me and a few others that when they compute our play they rate you the minimum. If you are playing a five dollar table, no matter your bet you get rated at five dollars. That really sucks.

poor comps on the strip, better off strip and a Laughlin
Poor to non-existent comps on strip, but i have pretty much stopped doing any serious gambling on the strip. Better comps from The M and Rampart, and a pretty aggressive marketing campaign from Ellis island. Got a couple of good free room offers from Laughlin casinos and I was only there once last year for about 8 hours.

Between poor video poker odds and 6-5 blackjack on the strip, I can't see why a even a "semi-serious" gambler would do any gambling on these games there.

Started doing much more gambling locally, in Shreveport. Even there comps are down drastically, but still better than the strip in Vegas.
