Just returned from a trip and the smell is pervasive. Eating breakfast at Hexx on strip at 6 AM with people walking by smoking it. The smell in the casinos is constant. Take look at where the state revenue is going...nowhere except to administer the program.

I like that it's legal but I haven't actually partaken. You didn't have that option in the poll.

Other than stores I have not seen any difference. I went to Catholic school from 1st to 12th, in high school I was taught to forget the propaganda of grade school. Just like our history lessons in grade school, not very accurate. But I still love my country and religion. I dont use weed, but I am glad it is legal.

As a local I don't mind it being legal, but I do mind that the fact that I went to the Linq a few weeks back and walked from there to the Cromwell and the smell was so strong everywhere. I am pretty sure it's only supposed to be smoked in you residence not in public. Thought it was odd for a Friday night we didn't see one Metro officer in the area.

yeah baby yeah. it's great to have the freedom to smoke a little ganja if the mood strikes. in moderation, marijuana like anything, can be a wonderful tool. way better than prescription drugs which are known to be problematic. marijuana is widely considered to be one of the best treatments for various physical ailments. obviously the medical benefits are well known thus the medical marijuana availability and usage throughout many of our states. more and more elite athletes seem to be endorsing the benefits of marijuana use when dealing with minor aches and pains and such. again, waaaay better than most prescription drugs. these are athletes who know their bodies and have been exposed to all types of treatments, drugs, etc and seem to believe in marijuana's positives as a natural treatment. kudos to LVA for their coverage on this subject. will be anxiously awaiting the smoking lounge status making it easier to get high without offending others or of course breaking any laws. peace

It’s legal, albeit not in public. So why is it different than the all the tobacco smoking that we see in the casinos today? I don’t think it was a particularly good idea to legalize it in the first place, and I have no more interest in smoking weed than I do tobacco, but if it’s been legalized and we already have legalized smoking policies, I don’t understand why there are different standards.

    in public?
The main concern we have is that the Strip smells like a pothouse. Obviously the authorities are looking the other way. If the law were followed and it was kept out of public areas, I'd say let those who want it have it, but the odor lingers and surrounds you.
