Question of the Day - 28 August 2019

Q:

Reader Poll Preview: Your favorite Las Vegas Casino lounges

A:

The results from the choices of polls we offered a few weeks ago were, from first to last: steakhouses, casino lounges, pools, shopping, airlines, and influential people take two. We've already run steakhouses, so lounges is up.

There are hundreds of them in Las Vegas, so the following list includes our own choices, though in order not to skew the results, we won't divulge our criteria. In the comment boxes, you can suggest your own selections for your reasons. Remember, these aren't showrooms with admission charges; rather, they're Actually, lounges, ultra lounges, or bars with music; other than an exception here and there, they have no cover charge or drink minimum.

We'll vote on these next week.

    Alternate choice
I think you need to add a choice for those of us who don't go to lounges, just so you can see what that percentage would be. Something like, "I don't go to lounges" or, "I don't drink so I don't go to lounges" or something similar would work for me. Otherwise I wouldn't even vote in the poll and you wouldn't know how many people chose not to vote because they don't go to casino lounges.

    Downtown, Cromwell, Paris
I don't see many downtown entries. Omaha Lounge at the Plaza comes to mind, Vue at the D. On the strip, Interlude Lounge at the Cromwell, Napoleon's Lounge at Paris/Bally's.
