Poll Preview: The vaccination collation
We've been following the polls on the number of Americans who say they won't get vaccinated against the coronavirus. The numbers have been all over the place.
In Pew Research Center polls, 72% of adults said they would probably or definitely get a shot if one were available May 2020 when the first survey was conducted. That percentage plummeted to 51% in September 2020, then rose to 60% in November 2020. In February, it was back up to 70% of Americans who'd either already been vaccinated or planned to be, still leaving 30% who planned not to.
Our demographic skews definitely older and polls consistently show that older Americans are much more apt to get jabbed; the last poll we saw put the number at 85%.
But we're curious how Las Vegas aficionados line up against the general population, so this is a two-part survey: age and intention. Here are the choices thus far. If you have any suggestions, we welcome them.
