    Mr. Will
I still come. I just do not do the gamble much, especially the bad odds bets. I play at local off strip casino's with free parking, lower limits and lower cost but good food. I go to the strip and downtown to people watch and enjoy the craziness. Low cost entertainment unlike anywhere else.

I used to do Vegas 3 times a year, but now we go once or twice a year.(wife's job make getting away difficult) I hear all the complaints, but Vegas slots are still better than the Indian casinos here in Calif. If you drink and decide the slots are tight, get up and go over to the next casino. Can't do that in Califorina's Indian casino's.

    The weather and sights.
I try to go in March and October every year ,to get away from the Seattle rain and cold.I like VP and almost free beer at the MSS.
Cheap food during happy hours(2 per day)!
I always stay and play down town.
    Thanks.

    Go to Pahrump
I used to live in Vegas but moved to Pahrump. Four major casinos with a fifth one being built and ready by 2020 with a movie theater. The fifth casino is being built at the Spring Mountain Motor Resort and Country Club. Also a couple of Mom and Pop casinos. But the important thing is that no nickel and dime charges, resort fees, or parking fees. Only forty miles from Vegas strip on a good highway with a short hop on over to a Death Valley visit. It's Nye County so there are Bordellos. Many have a dim view of Pahrump as a small town with nothing to offer but the town has changed a lot in the 9 years I have lived here and all for the better. Light traffic, only three stop lights in town. No big shopping like in Vegas nor fancy restaurants but damn good food at reasonable prices anywhere in town. A couple of excellent wineries and some golf courses. Even convention facilities if needed. Pahrump is at a higher elevation and cooler than Vegas and all prices lower than Vegas.

Still love L.V., but the smoke-filled casinos have taken a toll on my gambling pal and now I have to find another travel-mate. Noticed that casinos in Holland have completely separate rooms for non-smokers to insure that the stuff doesn't waft in.
