What can you tell us about the Poodle Room?
The Poodle Room is an exclusive members-only lifestyle and social club situated at top of the 67-story Fontainebleau hotel tower.
Inspired by the 1950s original at the Fontainebleau in Miami Beach, the Poodle Room is an "invite-only" venue that offers panoramic views of the Strip, private bar, cigar room, outdoor patio, lounge areas, and 12-seat omakase restaurant, all surrounded by '80s decor with a poodle theme. Membership also includes admission for up to three guests with the member, automatic ranking in the highest-tier of Fontainebleau Rewards, access to the Oasis pool and fitness center, preferred room rates, complimentary valet parking, and and 25% off at the Lapis Spa.
Specific membership pricing is not publicly disclosed, requiring an application process just to inquire. But our back channels report that membership is $20,000 per year.
The dress code is "elevated, elegant, and business-casual." Athletic wear, running shoes, gym caps, shorts, sweatpants, tank tops, swimwear, flip-flops, and large backpacks are disallowed.
According to a year-old article in Travel and Leisure, you can get in if: 1) you're a member; 2) you're a guest of a member; 3) you have a reservation at Ito, the omakase eatery there (offering a $400-per-person, 18-to-20-course sushi experience); and 4) you're staying in one of Fontainebleau’s $1,500-a-night Fleur de Lis suites.
The T&L article also has a few photographs of this opulent venue.
