Did Robert Irvine re-open his restaurant in another location after the Tropicana closed?
Nope.
Robert Irvine’s Public House opened in 2017 and closed, as you say, when the Tropicana did in early April 2024. It hasn't reopened in another location.
Irvine is an English-American celebrity chef, television personality, restaurateur, entrepreneur, author, and philanthropist. He's best known as the longtime host of Food Network’s "Restaurant: Impossible," which ran for many seasons through 2023, totaling hundreds of episodes, in which he helped turn around struggling restaurants. He's also married to former professional wrestler Gail Kim
Around the time of the closure, Irvine posted on social media that the Public House “will reopen somewhere soon.” However, in a March 2026 reply to a fan asking whether it had been relocated, he said, “We're still looking to have a restaurant In Vegas, but we have to find the right opportunity. Just haven’t found it yet.”
A strong supporter of the U.S. military and first responders, he founded the Robert Irvine Foundation in 2014. Proceeds from many of his ventures support the foundation’s work (service dogs, mental-health resources, mobility devices, etc). He frequently partners with the USO and has received honors such as Honorary Chief Petty Officer of the U.S. Navy and the Medal of Honor Society’s Bob Hope Award. As such, it's perhaps no surprise that Irvine’s remaining restaurant is Fresh Kitchen by Robert Irvine, located at the Pentagon.
