Can you tell me which valley casinos have steak and lobster specials?
Lucy's Bar and Grill at the Lucky Club in North Las Vegas (Civic Center Dr. and E. Cheyenne Ave.) has a steak and lobster special for $9.99.
The Wrangler at the Silver Nugget, also in NLV, serves an eight-ounce lobster tail and 10-ounce New York strip for "market price."
Probably the best-known s&l special is served at Tony Roma's in the Fremont downtown. It's not on the regular menu and is served only between 9 and 11 p.m. for $11.99.
T.G.I. Friday's at Sam's Town and the Gold Coast serve a six-ounce filet and four-ounce lobster tail with a choice of two sides for $14.99, but you also have to a beverage. They're served 3-6 p.m. daily.
The Rampart had a steak and lobster special for $9.99 in its Promenade Cafe, but only in June and July.
Perhaps the best one in town is at the local O'Aces Bar and Grill at 4955 S. Decatur (just south of Tropicana). We found it in summer 2017 when it was $19.99, which was a heckuva deal for steak, potato, vegetables, and two lobster tails. But then the price went up $10 in 2018 -- still a great dinner, but not such a great deal. Finally, last April, the price dropped to $24.95, which put it back in the good-deal category. Note, however, that it's served only on Friday nights.
Finally, King's Fish House in Henderson has a steak and South African lobster tail for $52.50 and Joe's Seafood, Prime Rib, and Stone Crab at the Forum Shops serves a six-ounce filet and 10-ounce North Atlantic lobster tail for $54.95. Other steakhouses and seafood restaurants no doubt have this surf and turf entree, but at these prices, we certainly wouldn't call them "specials."
Did we miss any? If so, let us and everyone know in the comments where.
