Why do you post ultra stupid questions like “why are casinos still killing people by letting them smoke?”
The reason we post questions, one every day of the year, is to answer them. We don't judge them, nor do we consider any questions stupid, let alone ultra stupid.
Case in point: We posted this one.
And we're sure that at least one person will contact us to ask why we posted such a supremely stupid question like, "Why do you post ultra stupid questions like 'why are casinos still killing people by letting them smoke?'”
On the other hand, we're equally sure that at least one person will let us know, one way or another, that it was an intensely intelligent thing to ask.
(If you'll indulge us in a slight digression, this is the reason that all opinions are false. No matter how fervently someone believes something, someone else believes the exact opposite with equal fervor. After they cancel each other out, all that's left is: Truth.)
As for the smoking question itself, it's a preeminent and persistent issue in the casino business and we were confident that it would be of interest to plenty of people, which it was, as evidenced by nearly three dozen comments.
