Question of the Day - 01 June 2026

Q:

How much does it cost to ride the Vegas Loop? What are its stations?

A:

Good question. It gave us an opportunity to update ourselves on stations and fares of the growing subterranean transportation system.

The Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) is the heart of the Loop. As long as you confine yourself to the LVCC's five stations, rides are free. They are LVCC Central (underground) and Plaza (at grade), South, West, and Riviera.

The Fontainebleau station is a little beyond the Convention Center, but still free.

Outside of those, stations are at Encore, Resorts World, and Westgate. One way trips between those cost $4.25, round trips $7.

The upcoming expansion will connect the Convention Center and outside stations to Virgin, UNLV, and Reid International. The tunnel is completed part way; surface transportation covers the rest. Those fares are $12, but they leave only from the LVCC Central station and there's no round-trip discount.

You can see the hours of operation and buy tickets here.
