I was following the Vegas Vickie Halloween contest at Circa, but I never found out who won or anything. Can you tell me?
On Halloween, 30 women dressed up like the neon icon Vegas Vickie and gathered at Circa downtown, where the original sign is now located, kicking her mechanical boot and welcoming visitors to her namesake cocktail lounge. The lookalikes were vying for the first-ever "Neon Idol" costume contest.
A panel of six local personalities judged the entrants, including VitalVegas' Scott Roeben, Las Vegas Review-Journal entertainment columnist John Katsilometes, and “Horny” Mike Henry from “Counting Cars” on The History Channel.
The winner was Las Vegan Mistianna Lund, whose costume featured more than 3,000 jewels and took 115 hours to make. She won $10,000, but donated the prize money to her non-profit, Answers4Cancer, where she serves as president. The organization provides individuals battling cancer funds for holistic services, such as chiropractic, massage, acupuncture, and more, at zero cost to the patient.
