The Downtown Grand has been surprisingly successful in filling some very big shoes -- those of the beloved and venerable Lady Luck. Located two blocks off the Fremont Street Experience, but getting closer as FSE expands in its direction, the Downtown Grand is the place to stay if you like $1 blackjack, a $2 hot dog-and-beer special (Nathan's and PBR), mini-blackjack tournaments, rooms in a new tower, a rooftop pool with cabanas, outdoor games, and food-and-drink service, and easy access to the Mob Museum, Las Vegas' most popular non-casino attraction. The casino has been redone in an industrial style, with inner workings like the old eye-in-the-sky catwalk exposed to public view, and the sports book is managed by Caesars. Parking is convenient in a garage right across the street and several excellent restaurants/bars (Hogs & Heifers, Triple George, and Pizza Rock) are across Third Street, with an excellent food hall also nearby.

$10 free slot play after earning 25 base points
You don't find out you have to earn 25 points first til after you receive the book. It's basically only $25.00 in playthrough though.

2025 Downtown Grand resort fee coupon.
The code to waive the resort fees currently just adds an extra $50/nt to the prevailing room rate + resort fees, so it’s just a straight up $50/nt jump in the room rate.

Following up on the post by Scott Dixon re: coupon
I am not quite sure if there was some sort of oddity happening that you noticed a price increase of $50 a night. I have been looking at prices over a variety of dates and there appears to be only about an $8 increase in price over the prices that DG offers with their "I Prefer Member Rate". The LVA coupon most definitely saves you a good deal of money since you aren't paying the resort fee.
