The former Fitzgeralds downtown has been reinvented as The D, a high-energy party spot with go-go dancing dealers and flair bartenders. The 629 deluxe rooms have been refurbished and offer two queen beds, an in-room safe, HDTVs, and high-speed Internet. Hotel amenities include a pool, an Enterprise Rent-a-Car desk (avoid the airport surcharge), and a Bitcoin ATM. There's also one, two-room suite, which features a full wet bar, two refrigerators, three flat-screen TVs, and a mountain view. The casino is on two levels, with the upper floor highlighting a limited number of coin-in slot machines and one of Las Vegas' only two surviving Sigma Derby horse-racing games.
