At 75,000 square feet over three levels, Hakassan is the nightclub equivalent in size to what its host, MGM Grand, is to a hotel (one of the largest in the world). And it’s not just a club; it’s also a restaurant, lounge, and pool, with 500 employees just to keep it running.
Hakassan was named the country’s number-two nightclub by Nightclub and Bar magazine in 2015 and the second-best in the world, by the luxury website Luxatic; it competes with the best of Ibiza, Rio, and of course Las Vegas.
As such, Hakassan attracts the biggest names in the business, with Calvin Harris, Tiesto, Steve Aoki, and Afrojack frequently mixing it up there.
The main club is on level 4, overlooked by the mezzanine on level 5. Also on level 4 is the Pavillion, an outdoor Oriental garden with its own DJ booth, bar, and two-story water feature. On level 3 are the private intimate Ling Ling club and lounge, just above the restaurant.
