Best Friend is the oddly named Las Vegas debut of an L.A. celebrity chef of Korean food, Roy Choi. It's fronted by a liquor store/bar/fast-food counter/merch shop.
The restaurant serves a fusion of Korean barbecue (Choi's specialties) and Mexican (the L.A. influence), such as Korean wings, dumplings, various bowls (pork belly and uni) and pots (spicy veggie, black cod, and corned-beef hash), kalbi, garlic chicken, short ribs, and jumbo prawns, along with "large format" dishes like lobster kung pao, caviar tostadas, grilled who fish, and bone-in ribeye, plus carnitas tacos, beef saltado, and even eggplant schnitzel. Prices are fairly reasonable for the Strip: $30 and under.
