Tic toc, tic toc

We decided to get our motors runnin' while looking for adventure by starting the meal with an appetizer of bacon jam and brie accompanied by toasted baguette rounds.  The only problem was the wait and wait you  must for the bacon jam to cool so you ignite your palate.  Tic, toc, tic, toc, tic, toc.  Time to scoop out a sizeable portion, smear heavily on the baguette and savor.  Repeat again and again until every delicious morsel has been consumed.

Our Brussels sprouts Caesar salad was likely healthier though registering far lower on the flavor scale so it won't be receiving an invite to join us on next visit.  Lastly, both my wife and I each ordered the sea bass entree with chili oil and topped by an interesting cauliflower tabbouleh that proved to be quite enjoyable.
