Crack Shack is a gourmet fried-chicken chain with five locations in southern California fronted by celebrity chef Richard Blais of "Top Chef" fame. It's another restaurant that "reimagines" classic comfort food centered entirely around antibiotic-free Jidori chicken and free-range eggs. The three-meal menu (yes, chicken for breakfast) consists of five- and ten-piece fried-chicken plates, six sandwiches and bowls, deviled eggs, chicken "oysters" (the two small round pieces of dark meat near the thigh that many chicken lovers regard as the most flavorful and tender part of the bird), Mexican poutine (jalapeno cheese wiz replaces the cheese curds and gravy in the traditional Canadian poutine), schmaltz (Yiddish for chicken fat) fries, and a "Hangover" breakfast sandwich (fried egg, fried breast or thigh, and coffee aioli on a giant biscuit). The Crack Shack is located right on the Strip next to Eataly at Park MGM.
