We really like this buffet and always have. The prices have crept up over the years, but only by a few bucks, the quality and variety have remained consistently high, and the price includes unlimited beer and wine.
Read the LVA reviews below; both (one from 2012, the other from 2005) show that Cravings has been a steady dependable gourmet buffet for many many years. And considering that the other restaurant choices at the Mirage are a bit pedestrian, this might be the best play.
Also, you can park for free at TI next door and catch the tram to the Mirage mere steps from parking garage.
Best of all is the 2-for-1 coupon in the LVA's coupon book, which saves you almost the price of the online membership.

Once in a while we get a negative report on this buffet. That causes us to go back and try it again and each time our opinion is the same—Cravings at the Mirage is one of the best buffets in town. Noodle soups and salads made to order, prime rib, turkey, chicken, fresh guacamole, kimchee, a good raw bar with peeled shrimp and ceviche, vegetables of all sorts, sliced meats and cheeses, and fresh fruit are just a small sample of what’s available. And that was for lunch. Add in other nice touches, such as a beautiful room, attentive service, and wine for just $5 per glass, and it’s difficult to see where a complaint could come from (the only mild disappointments were a diminished dim sum selection and the usual buffet-quality sushi). At $15.99 for breakfast, $19.99 for lunch, and $26.99 for dinner, even the pricing is good for a buffet of this quality (it’s less expensive than lunch at Paris, Planet Hollywood, or the Rio, which go for $21.99-$22.99). Use the twofer in the Member Rewards Book and you’re eating the lunch described here for $10, which is crazy good. Put this one on your dining itinerary.
