Beautiful room, average food, pricey—is this starting to sound like a broken record? Ago was a big disappointment. The gorgeous restaurant looks onto the pool. The menu is intriguing, with creative dishes like wild boar stew. It sure seems as if you’re in for something special, but it doesn’t hold up. Aloof service and cold stew didn’t help (others on the LVA staff have had similar experiences) and the food just didn’t pop. There’s only one play here: Sign up for the Hard Rock players club and earn the $50 comp ($200 coin-in) for this restaurant. Stick with the pasta in the low $20s and salad and you’ll be getting the best of it.
