This Mexican restaurant was originally located at Monte Carlo (now Park MGM), but closed in November 2017 to make way for Eately. It reopened at Luxor in the space that was Tacos & Tequila, the name of which is also an apt description of Diablo's Cantina.
The Mexican cuisine here is inspired by the street food and most popular dishes of Mexico City and Day of the Dead decor, such as shrimp ceviche brisket enchiladas, achiote-marinated steak, adobo chicken, jalapeno chicken tacos, spicy salsas, plus sugar-coated plantains and churro funnel cake for dessert.
Tequila is available in abundance and Diablo's at Monte Carlo was known as much for its scene (nightclub-like) as its cuisine. As we write this in late December 2018, it's too early to tell if that will carry over to Luxor. If it does, this place will be loud and rowdy.

A second location is now open at the Mirage, Sun-Thurs, 11 a.m.-midnight; Fri-Sat, 11 a.m.-2 a.m.
