The dim sum experience has a customary tableside cart allowing guests to visually select their options. Enjoy the various shrimp, lobster, crab, and giant clam dishes.

The new Chinese restaurant at the Rio has a full menu, but its specialty is dim sum and that’s what they assume you’re there for. As soon as you sit down, the first cart shows up you’re in business. It’s the typical tiered pricing you find in other dim sum restaurants, with the starting level, at $2.28, slightly lower than standard (most dishes are priced $3.98 or less). The dining room is huge and seems to always be busy with lots of Asian customers. We rate KJ about the same as Cathay House at the Palms and a little behind Ping Pang Pong at Gold Coast, but located near the west entrance of the Rio (across from the buffet), KJ is more convenient and stays open longer than the others, from 10 am to 5 am every day.
