This restaurant was reviewed in the April 2005 LVA when it was still the Original Pancake House; some of the information contained in the review may no longer be accurate. This breakfast house, extremely popular among locals, has three locations around Las Vegas (and a fourth about to open), including one at Green Valley Ranch. It’s a big-food place, serving giant plates of omelets, waffles, crepes, and of course, pancakes—macadamia, apple, chocolate chip, strawberry, blueberry, coconut, you name it. Sides of what the owners claim is “the biggest bacon in Las Vegas” are $3.79 and fresh-squeezed juices go for $1.25/$1.75. While you won’t find the Las Vegas-style super-discount breakfast here (though there’s a good children/senior plate for $6.19 and half orders are available), at $6.50 to $9 for most dishes, it’s still a deal. We weren’t impressed with the crepes, but a veggie omelet, chocolate-chip pancakes, and the big bacon all rocked, and the potato pancakes were as good as any Jewish deli’s.
