The Orleans Medley Buffet has eight cooking stations: Italian, barbecue, American, seafood, Mexican, Asian, deli, and desserts. The carving station is always good for some combination of rotisserie chicken, ribs, brisket, prime rib, sausages, and/or turkey, but we wouldn't call it vegan or even vegetarian-friendly.
Having been renovated in the summer of 2017, the room is still clean, both at the tables and around the food, and the service is as good as it's always been.
With the coupon from the Member Rewards Book, it's definitely worth a special trip for the discount. Without the discount? We'd say, probably.
We reviewed this buffet in May 2018 (see below), which stands up and gives you a more in-depth look at the lunch spread.

We finally got around to trying the new buffet at the Orleans, which underwent a $4.5 million remodel last summer and reopened in late September with a name change, a bigger room, and an overall sprucing up—upgraded lighting, plus new carpet, furniture, and décor, give the buffet a brighter fancy modern look. As for the food, this buffet is pretty much the way it’s always been. The large selection maintains decent quality all around, though nothing spectacular. Everything’s labeled, so there’s no guessing. We went for lunch on a Friday, which yielded the usual seafood emphasis— ceviche, peel-and-eat shrimp, mussels, tilapia, gumbo, and three kinds of (grocery store-quality) sushi—for no added charge. We were a little surprised by the breakfast items at lunch, such as made-to-order omelets, hash browns, bacon, and a carving station with bone-in ham and Italian sausage (a second carvery was slicing smoked brisket and kielbasa). Otherwise, there were the usual Italian, barbecue, American, Mexican, Asian, deli, and dessert stations. Standouts included the chile verde, stuffed cabbage, shrimp and pork shao mai noodles, and red sausage and beans. The salad bar is also a highlight: lots of veggies for a green salad, plus chicken, tuna, potato, edamame, and broccoli-walnut prepared salads and make your own Caesars, and several soups. The dessert station has soft-serve chocolate and vanilla, 18 different kinds of scooped ice cream, a large sugarfree selection, and lots of cakes, pies, puddings, and cobblers. Using the Member Rewards 50%-discount voucher, it was $8 for lunch—a can’t-lose.
