Long-standing and popular family-friendly neighborhood sushi bar and restaurant. Enjoy traditional Japanese sushi and a variety of rolls, with an emphasis on "novelty." Plenty of TV screens tuned to sports to make sure you don't miss your favorite games.

This restaurant was reviewed in the March 2005 LVA; some of the information contained in the review may no longer be accurate. With so many local sushi places now scattered around Las Vegas, how do you choose? We’re partial to those that have something that the rest don’t, and that’s the garlic tuna at Sushi Fever. It’s good stuff, and at only $6 per order you can get your fill without breaking the bank. Sushi standards, such as two-piece orders of salmon, yellowtail, and tuna, are all $4.50 (compared to Nobu’s $6, $7, and $8, respectively). There’s also a huge selection of specialty rolls, many for less than $10. Sushi Fever is popular among locals in the know (the owner of one of Las Vegas’ hottest restaurants was there on our last visit) and the place is usually buzzing. There are also teppan grills (hibachi dinners run a low $11.50 to $16.50), Korean dishes, and teriyaki and tempura for under $15. Save some room for the tasty green-tea ice cream for dessert. With three people and more drinks than at Nobu (see “Quick Bites”), our tab came to $99.
