This restaurant was reviewed in the July 2011 LVA; some of the information contained in the review may no longer be accurate. Las Vegas has some good high-end non-casino restaurants—places like Rosemary’s, Vintner Grill, and Marche Bacchus. Another lesser-known place that belongs in this group is Table 34. Located about five miles east of the south Strip, this is a bustling little restaurant that seems to be hitting its stride. Some of the good dishes we’ve had here are rack of lamb with potato-fennel galette and brandy-peppercorn sauce ($30.75), charbroiled Angus beef tenderloin with roasted potatoes and vegetables ($31), and the daily “fall-off-the-bone” rack of ribs ($28). There’s also duck ($27.50), trout ($24), eggplant ($19.50), and we’ve seen people set up at the bar and order one of the creative thin-crust pizzas, like prosciutto and asparagus with blue cheese; bacon, spinach, mushrooms, and gouda; and wild mushroom with fresh herbs ($14-$15). Good appetizers, like sautéed scallops or beet salad, run about $13. With drinks, you’re looking at about $50-$60 per person for dinner. But you can drop that average to about $40 for two by using our Member Rewards coupon for a $25 discount. We don’t get an MRB discount, then tout a restaurant. Rather, we pick restaurants we think you’d like to try, then get an MRB to make it better. This is one that we think you’ll try and come back to.
