LVA Review

This restaurant was reviewed in the April 2012 LVA; some of the information contained in the review may no longer be accurate. As downtown goes, so goes the Triple George. When this restaurant on Third St. opened a few years back, we really liked it. Then things began getting rough downtown and the place fell off a bit. Now, with downtown picking up again, 3G seems to be coming back. Last month we had two good experiences there—one for lunch and one for dinner. The play for lunch is the “10 under $10” menu that includes an excellent pot-roast plate for $9.95. Another diner asked if it was “as good as it looked,” and it was. For dinner, three of us did steaks, which range from $22 for a petite filet to $39.95 for a big cowboy special. Get the filet and split a wedge salad for $6.95 and this is a solid steak play for both quality and price.
