This show was reviewed in the November 2004 LVA; some of the information contained in this review may no longer be accurate. Located in the hotel section (west side) of Tuscany is Tuscany Gardens. This former steakhouse is now an Italian restaurant that offers a recommendable bargain play for dinner, with salads, soups, and appetizers all priced under $10, and entrees under $20. The most expensive appetizers are lobster ravioli ($8.95) and carpaccio ($9.45), and both are worth their cost. Bargain pastas begin at just $8.95 and a big glass of the house red is $5.50. After trying a couple of the more expensive entrees—chicken ($14.95) and scampi ($16.95)—we advise staying with the cheap pastas and appetizers. Don’t get the idea that this is a dumpy little spaghetti house, though. The best thing about Tuscany Gardens is the upscale atmosphere and service, which belie the bargain pricing.
