Desperado Roller Coaster

This is a ferocious mile-plus-long three-minute ride on one of the tallest and fastest roller coasters in the country. 

The climb to the top of the 209-foot-high first drop seems to take forever, but the ride down is so short that your guts won't know where the rest of you is (at 55 degrees to vertical and 90 mph). The tunnel is a surprise, then comes the second climb, 155 feet, and drop. You twist and turn, shake rattle and roll, through the rest of the ride, trying to hang onto your head.

When you get to the end, you'll know you've been on a thrill ride -- and probably still will hours later.
