Drai's Beach Club

This plastic-walled 11th-floor dayclub on the rooftop of The Cromwell, hosted by the Moroccan former movie producer and current high-profile restaurant and nightclub owner, Viktor Drai, is one of the hottest spots in one of the hottest cities. The views are spectacular whether you're looking out at Bellagio, Paris, or Caesars (or the monumental traffic jams at Flamingo Road and the Strip) or at the glitterati who frequent the place. There's a spot in a corner of the pool to catch the Bellagio fountains show.

Two lines of tall palms shade the high-ledged pools; take a daybed on the pool level, or a cabana on the second level to preside over the partiers massed below. Celebrity DJs, parties, and special events keep the place jamming during the day; the party moves into Drai's Nightclub after dark. The entertainment is heavy on rap and R&B acts.
