The Adventuredome, which opened in 1993 during Las Vegas' family-friendly reinvention, is a five-acre indoor amusement park behind Circus Circus. Fully enclosed, it's open year-round and is never affected by rain or wind.

The park offers 25 rides and attractions. Several are major thrills: the original Canyon Blaster roller coaster (the world's largest indoor double-loop double-corkscrew), El Loco (another big coaster), Chaos (cars flip while revolving on a wheel), the Inverter (spins upside down), and the Sling Shot (flinging riders 100 feet high at 4 Gs). Sand Pirates is also a big affair, one of the world's largest swings.

A Ferris wheel, carousel, bumper cars, laser tag, 4D films, motion simulators, lots of kiddie rides, 18 holes of mini golf, an arcade, midway games, and more round out the experiences.

Every October since 2003, the Adventuredome has been transformed into "Fright Dome," with a Halloween theme.

Notes

Children under 33" ride for free as long as they are accompanied by a paying adult, although some restrictions may still apply.

Located upstairs in the Circus Circus Midway is the Big Top where different acts perform each half hour. Featuring acts such as aerialists, trapeze artists, acrobats, jugglers, balancing acts, and clowns.
