Wet Republic

Wet Republic recently underwent a multi-million dollar renovation with new video screens, cabanas, and ultra-sleek bungalows with private plunge pools. It is a 54,000-square-foot adult-only "ultra-pool" daylife hangout for the thousands that gravitate to Hakkasan parties, making these among the largest crowds at pools in the known universe. And of course, it's at MGM Grand, which is no slouch in the size department. 

And with eight pools, including the only saltwater swimming pools at a casino in Vegas, there's at least a little wetness for every "Republican" here.  

Five levels of rentals start at king-size daybeds (4-6 people) in prime locations, then go up to lounge tables (6-10), front-row dance-floor tables (10) under umbrellas, deck tables on the pools' edge for table-top dancing, cabanas above the pool area with oversized couches and fridges, and topping out at the bungalows, with king daybeds and private pools and restrooms. Renting a locker will cost you $50.

The stage, video screen above it, and sound system throughout are worthy of the big-name DJs who mosey outside from the Hakassan nightclub: Tiesto, Steve Aoki, Hardwell, Afrojack, Calvin Harris, and more, so a celebrity vibe often permeates the place.
