(We haven't reviewed Celine, but here's an interesting tidbit from the November 2016 issue):
Celine Dion has hit the 1,000 mark for her shows in the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Given that she plays to sold-out crowds in a 4,200-seat theater, that puts the ticket count at more than 4 million, with proceeds that exceed the $658 million gross of Titanic, the movie that made her famous. Las Vegas Review-Journal entertainment writer Mike Weatherford put the milestone in perspective, writing that Frank Sinatra played 425 shows in Vegas and Elvis Presley a devilish 666, though Penn & Teller clock in at about 3,300 and Mac King’s 17 years of two-a-days puts him way out front, at nearly 8,200 shows.
