One wonders what the “unforeseen circumstances: at the Golden Nugget were … lack of players maybe? But all was well elsewhere at the Nugget. Our correspondent reports, “All three casinos were quite busy, and on Friday nights, Golden Nugget offers a free show in their night club with tribute bands that attract a lot of younger people. On Saturday, Golden Nugget had a very good bar band in their lounge.” Highlights of the weekend included a pink-bicycle giveaway at Ocean and a small free-play jackpot at Tilman’s place. Upcoming goodies include $80 gift cards from Bally’s Atlantic City, $125 in free slot play at Ocean and free bedsheets from Borgata. Who said that “george” comps were dead and gone?
