I guess the true value depends on how far that $100 food credit gets you--are the restaurants fairly priced and is the food any good? I remember reading in LVA about the awesome pastrami sandwich at the sports bar...the awesome $26 pastrami sandwich.

Also, if you're gambling, you get drinks for free...you place a sports bet, you get drink tokes. So I'm not sure what value there is in the drinks credit. Especially if you use the LVA champagne coupon.

I guess the day bed at the pool is nice, but I'm not sure I would want to broil like a lobster. If it's June or later...well, I would hope that the pool is open after sundown. But very few ever are, which has always seemed odd to me. I guess they want you inside, gambling.

Still, not a bad deal, considering that even two weekday nights will cost you close to $400 all by themselves these days.

3 negatives and a "not a bad deal".

I never ended up taking advantage of the daybed. I never got around to booking a time for it and the trips I made to the pool were spontaneous.

Yeah you do "drink for free" playing but I know that there are some people that don't drink when they play.

Also sometimes if you're not at a bar top game the drinks can take a while to arrive and you might find yourself playing longer than you normally would have.

Another use for the beverage credit is for a bottle of wine with dinner or maybe a premium liquor. The casino certainly wouldn't have comped the  glass of Lagavulin I ordered before dinner.

I used my F&B credit at Andiamo Steakhouse at The D. It was expensive but it was really good.

I also tried the burger place at Circa. For current Vegas casino standards prices weren't bad. Burgers were delicious. I think burgers were about $15 bucks fries were an extra $4

The LVA book has a coupon for project BBQ at circa. I hear that's pretty good. There's also a coupon for American Coney Island at The D.

Your point?

If you don't mind having your day for most part restricted to those properties the MGM is a good deal.  Luxor tower rooms are nice and Excalibur is being renovated,

One good thing about the MGM deal is the food offers are not limited to Luxor and Excalibur. There are food options at some other MGM properties as well.

I forgot to mention Ceasers has one too. Starting at $200.  Stay at Flamingo, Linq, or Harrahs. Bottomless drinks at select venues. Two meals a day from select restaurants. Ride on the high roller.
