We were at the Four Queens over the last weekend. The bars progressives went down and were being worked on by techs. When "fixed", the DDB had been upgraded to 9-6-4 with the progressives still in place, and the DB had been upgraded to 9-7-5 with the progressives still in place. Good VP news!!

Those are 99% games without counting the progressive. Were you able to estimate the pace/speed of the progressive meter?
I'm feeling too lazy to check it out for sure, but I believe those games would be positive at about $1600 for the royal (.25 denom.) However, as the slot club returns over 0.9% in cash and comps, the play is almost positive from the get-go. If you factor in their current promo, it's definitely positive EV.

The progressives are on the various four of a kinds - 5 different for the 5 possibilities of DDB and 3 different for DB. As such, I really couldn't estimate how fast they go up.
A report on another board tells us the progressives have now been removed from the Palace bar for sure, and the other two bars were expected to be next.

Well, drat, that makes those games much less attractive. I read that they've completely killed all their 10/7 DB but their 9/6 JOB remains, for now. Gradually getting worse, though...sigh.

It would be a coin flip if they removed the progressive meters and those meters added 1%. The paytable improvements added 1.1%. Impossible to tell if this move made those games better or worse overall.
Any current updates on the bartop progressives at 4 Queens?
I was at the Four Queens today and found that the 25c/50c/$1 98.91% Deuces progressives are now only on the Kings Bar. This was confirmed with an employee. Furthermore, the best game now at the Chicago Brewing Co. Bar is 9/5 JoB only in $1. Latest info is now in vpFREE2.com.
