It’s one of my favorites. “Get off of my cloud” by The Stones.

Another favorite:

Sittin' in a nest of bad men,
Whiskey bottles pilin' high

Great one - i used to jam with those guys -

Hollies - Long Cool Woman

Sidenote - my Dad gave them their first break at Avondale youthclub Adswood, Stockport!
Which is how I got to jam with them!

Oops - forgot to give you a new one -

I could use a “Sunny Afternoon” lately. That one is by the Kinks.

I’m sure you’ll know this:

Feel the heat
pushing you to decide
Good Morning All,

I was sure this would be easy. Sorry about that. I’ll give hints.

I got this from Wikipedia:
The band was formed in New York City late in 1984 during a break in Duran Duran's schedule. They named the group from the name of the studio where the album was recorded.
The song reached number 14 on the UK Singles Chart and number 6 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.

The next few lines:

Feel the heat
burning you up
Ready or not

Pretty sure that's Some Like It Hot, by Power Station. I think Robert Palmer sang the lead, right?

OK, the original version of this one goes all the way back to 1958. Since then, it's been covered a bazillion times. Well, at least half a bazillion:

I don't have plans and schemes
And I don't have hopes and dreams

Hi Jim,

It’s “Since I don’t have you”. I recently discovered that Guns ‘n Roses recorded it. I never would have guessed.

BTW, Yes Robert Palmer did sing lead on “Same Like it Hot”.

This charted in 1972:

We met down on the fort of Rio Grande
Eat the salted peanuts out of can

Good one, Cyn! Especially since Eric Burdon's name has come up here recently.

It's Cisco Kid, by War.

This one may be a little risky. It's from 1970. It was the B-side of one of this popular artist's greatest hits. It charted at #65 on its own, and it is one of my (50 or 60) favorite songs:

They have sweated beneath the same sun
Looked up in wonder at the same moon
And wept when it was all done

Hint - A related duo!

Tonyrob

I think that is “Somethin’ Stupid” by Frank and Nancy Sinatra.

Too bad I missed “Done too soon” It’s on one of my favorite CDs.

I like the remake of this one:

Don't you know I need you so
Oh, tell me please
I gotta know.

Edit: Correcting my paste.
