That's Beatles "Im Down" !~~~~~but I'm gone for 3 days so here's a soft pitch
so the game can go one w/o me
1985 was a hot year...

I think I love her
Built like she was
She had the nerve 2 ask me
If I planned 2 do her any harm
So, look here
I put her on the back of my bike
And-a we went riding
Down by old man Johnson's farm

You threw me there for a minute. But I know that one. A little bit of a departure for you, no? It’s “Raspberry Beret” by Prince.

Back to 1958:

While you're rockin' and rollin', can't you hear your mama call?

Good Golly - I know that one - the great Little Richard

Edited to add a clue - This British band Album track spun off as a hit single.

Drums are beating cold, English blood runs hot,

That's Brown Sugar, by the Stones.

Cyndee's Little Richard tune has me thinkin' 50s. In 1959, a record company kept the original songwriter's piano track for this song, but substituted a more energetic vocal track from a different singer. The result was a hit:

I got to get to movin' baby, I ain't lyin'
My heart is beatin' rhythm, and it's right on time
So be my guest, you've got nothin' to lose
