Name the song the line is from Part II

More lyrics, including the title:

They say a man should never cry
But when I see you passing by
My heart breaks down and cries a million tears
You broke my heart and set me free
But you forgot your memory
And __ _____ _____ __ _-______' since you're gone

As mentioned, this 1962 song was a #3 hit. A year earlier, the artist had enjoyed a #2 hit about something or other in motion, whose movements he compared to those of a wave out on the ocean.

I'm afraid I just don't know it.

Anybody else?

Edited for bad paste.
The only thing I can come up with is "It Keeps Right On A-Hurtin'," but that's probably wrong, lol.

Very good! It Keeps Right On A-Hurtin', by Johnny Tillotson, is correct.

The previous year's hit that I hinted about was Poetry In Motion.

You're up, Sue!

"Hear the whisper of the raindrops
blowing soft against the window,
And make believe you love me one more time ... "
Good Morning All,

I used to hear that one on the jukebox when I went to the Moose Lodge with my parents. It’s “For the Good Times”. I believe the artist on that record was Ray Price. My Dad liked Country Music and so did his friends.

I’m looking for some happy stuff and here’s a start:

Yeah, they were dancin' and singin'
and movin' to the groovin'
Is that "Play That Funky Music?"
It sure is, Sue. Take it away.
"If I had you, could I ever want for more?"

Does anyone know this, or should I give it up?
