Name the song the line is from Part II

I smell Beatles but I'm listening/rockin' out to Van Morrison and the title ain't happening here.

CalifLovesVegas is coming in an hour to visit!!!!!! so excited
Yes, it's the Beatles, but I'm drawing a mental block. I keep hearing "she said so." Is that a line from it? Or something like -- "I'm in love with her and I feel fine." ??

Have fun with CLV, J-M. Wish I could be there.

Hi Sue,

The title is in there. It’s “I feel fine”.

Fire away!

Edit: Adding emoticon
Sorry, I've got nothing.

You can have mine, then.

This was certified “Gold” in 1972

Baby, it's you on my mind
Your love is so rare

May be out to lunch on this one but there was a band - I think that they were called Climax Blues Band -
who had a song titled Precious and Few. I don't recall anything else that they did.

If that is correct - I'll pose this one - also 1970's

Touch of her skin, feeling silky smooth, oh,

Precious and Few sounds like a good guess to me, Tony, but I think it was done by the American band Climax, and not the British Climax Blues Band. Climax Blues Band had some good songs as well, a few of which I believe we've covered on the lyrics thread in the past.

I'm pretty sure your lyrics are from Lady Marmalade. Since you specified 70s, I assume you're referring to the original version by Labelle (my favorite, too).

Let's try some 1984:

Bought a beat up six string, in a secondhand store
