I think that's "Love Is a Many-Splendored Thing," by the Four Aces?
New lyrics --
"One of us is changing,
or maybe we just stopped trying"

Good Morning All,
That’s “It’s too late” by Carole King.
Another from the early 1970s:
Can love be measured by the hours in a day?

Where do I begin? I have it by Barry Manilow "greatest love songs of all time" but it's an American standard
sweet!
New:
sketch the trees and the dafoldils
catch the breeze and the winter chills
in colors on the snowy linen land...

That one always makes me stop and listen. Thanks for posting it, N’cat. It’s “Vincent” by Don McLean.
An easy one from 1961:
If the sky that we look upon should tumble and fall

I do believe that’s
Sway
.
I heard it at the Michael Bublé concert my wife dragged me to last summer, but I think it was Dean Martin who originally made it a hit way back when (early 50s?).
Late 50s for this one:
All the teens had the dancin' bug

Gosh, Jim you did it again. “Splish, Splash” by Bobby Darin was lined up for me to use as a song from the late 50s. Good one, Buddy.
I’ll use this instead:
All over Saint Louie, way down in New Orleans.
