You got it (all), Cyn.

I think I remember your song. It's by Fleetwood Mac, and it's called Don't Stop. Or Don't Stop Believing About Tomorrow. Or something in between, like Don't Stop Believing. It's gotta be one of those, lol.

I should never say this, but I'm going to do it anyway: Here's an EASY ONE. It's from 1981:

She's precocious, and she knows just what it takes to make a pro blush

Just watched and photographed Fraser Union playing 8 Bar Blues in D Minor - And 12 Bar Blues in A Flat - Wow - Amazing Band. Back to the song at hand

The song is Bette Davis Eyes.
I have only heard it by Paris Hilton - LOL - don't know who did it originally. Anyone?

Hi, Tony. It was originally done by Kim Carnes.

Well, having had the benefit of a night's sleep and a morning cup of coffee, I see that I messed up last night. Cyndee posted lyrics from Don't Stop (Thinking About Tomorrow) -- a Fleetwood Mac song. Somehow in my mind I must have gotten the title mixed up with Don't Stop Believing -- a Journey song -- and came up with Don't Stop Believing About Tomorrow.

Ugh. A brain fart on my part. Sorry, Cyndee.

I'm going to be away until sometime this evening, so I'll leave the floor open.

Good Morning All,

It's good to see you back, Tony. I hope you are getting along alright. I'm sorry about the things you went through recently. I understand since I lost both parents within 37 days back in 2000. You have my sympathy.

I believe it’s your turn. Would you like to post some lines?

BTW, Paris Hilton sings, Really?

Thanks Cyndee - I appreciate it. Must have been very tough losing both parwnts in such a short time.

Edited to add additional line

"Runaround Sue."

New lyrics --

"It's hard, you will find,
to be narrow of mind"
That must be “Young at Heart” and done by many artists.

Here’s a little 1964:

So I asked to see her next week
and she told me I could
That's "Something Tells Me I'm Into Something Good." Not sure who sang it.

This could be difficult because it's a Broadway show tune. I'll try it, though, and if nobody knows it, I'll give it up.

"Go to Timbucktu,
and back again"

I believe it was Hermans Hermits

I used to be madly in love with Shani Wallis (of course she never knew )
She performed in the refrain of that song in the movie.
That is" I'd Do Anything" from "Oliver" - Great Pick!

1960's Hit
Well, meet me, baby, down at 45th Street

I'm so glad you got that, Tony. I love "Oliver!" And I've been hearing that song in some TV commercial lately -- don't know what they're advertising, which makes it an ineffective commercial, lol.

Who is Shani Wallis? Was she the girl in the movie? (I can't think of the character's name, either, but I loved her voice and the songs.)

Yes, Herman's Hermits on the other song. Thanks for refreshing my memory.

Don't know yours, so I'll post it again so someone else can reply:

"1960's Hit
Well, meet me, baby, down at 45th Street"

Edited to add: Never mind, I googled Shani Wallis. She was Nancy in the movie and was wonderful!
