Name the song the line is from Part II

John Lennons Buddhist chant - I me mine
Chai Ka-ruu Day-o
nothin s gonna change my world...

that one?? (Gawd, I'm a space case..) sorry

GOT IT! ACROSS THE UNIVERSE!!!!!! (Had to sing it..)

New:

No we got nothing in common
No we can't talk at all
Please take me along
When you slide on down
Hey, it’s “Hey, Nineteen” by Steely Dan.

I don’t hear this much anymore but it was #7 in 1979:

Now I'm able to see all the things life can be shining soft in your eyes

That's a pretty song. You Decorated My Life, by Kenny Rogers.

I don't have anything lined up right now, so I'll just do an easy one-liner from 1972.

Voice: Did you just say this was going to be an EASY one?
clcjim: Yeah. So what?
Voice: That's the kiss of death, man.
clcjim: Don't be silly. This one is so easy, someone's going to guess it right away:

She's been sleeping in the devil's bed

She’s that “Witchy Woman” that The Eagles sang about.

This has crossed my mind lately:

Hope you've got your things together

Gosh Tony,

It makes me wonder whose concert you are going to. If I’m not mistaken your song is “The First Cut is the Deepest”. I know of that song being done by Cat Stevens, Rod Stewart and Cheryl Crowe. There may be others too, so who are you getting to see?

BTW, I'm jealous.

Rod Stewart - he just opened at Caesars Palace.
MGM gave us a suite for 3 nights, meals, Terry Fator tickets, $450.00 to gamble with - I told my wife we had better book it before they realize that they sent the offer to the wrong Tony Roberts

I ain't buyin' it Tony. We all knew you were a high roller from the start.

Like Cyndee, I be jealous, too. Enjoy, buddy!

Yes, Tony. That’s great! Of the things you listed I’m mostly envious of the show tickets. I’ll bet Rod Stewart has a very good show these days. And I know Terry Fator is great. I saw his show in 2009 and had a blast. Good for you!

Oops! Here’s something:

We’d sing and dance forever and a day

We had to buy the Rod Stewart tickets - but everything else is comped.

I think I have yours - although you may have a different singer in the USA

In England it was Mary Hopkins - Those Were The Days.
