It's Sherry, by everybody knows who.

OK, here we go:

Where it began
I can't begin to knowin'

Great choice Jim - that is on one of the CD's that live in my car

Sweet Caroline - Neil Diamond

Eighties

Through The Storm We Reach The Shore

That would be With Or Without You, by U2.

I loved the 80s, Tony. Then again, I didn't have much of a problem with the 60s or 70s.

If it's love
If it really is
It's there in his kiss

Don't know who first recorded that in the US but in the UK it was Dusty Springfield.
Cher also did it.

It's in His Kiss

Moving back about 20 years -

You're in my dreams nightly
Don't take my love lightly

I think that be Mr. Vinton, right? Please Love Me Forever.

More 60s:

The arms I long for
Will open wide

(Edit: I think Betty Everett first did It's In His Kiss in the States)

I'll try another line or two:

The arms I long for
Will open wide
And you'll be proud to have me
Right by your side

It was a 60s girl group.

The song was written by Carole King and her husband at the time. I think Carole liked it, because she recorded it herself many years later.

The killer opening piano riff, played by Carole herself, was kept from the demo tape and has been preserved for posterity in the 45 RPM record.
Good Morning All,

This has to be “One Fine Day” by The Chiffons and many others afterward. It’s another one we did in 8th grade mixed chorus. Nice one, Jim

Still early 60s:

I tell ya I'm gonna steal you away from all those guys
I think that's Ruby Baby, by Dion et al.

I loved the music these guys made back in the 60s. This one took peeping to a whole new level:

Oh, you can see the little children all around
Oh, you can see the little ladies in their gowns

(Cyn, your 8th grade chorus was one hell of a lot more fun than mine)
ME TOO
look thru any window/ HOLLIES

we got our own way of talkin'..
we got our own way of walkin'..
You ain’t been nowhere ‘til you’ve been in

With “The In Crowd” that is. Did anybody besides Dobie Gray do that one?

Another thread I read this morning reminded me of this one from 1956:

Knocked once, tried to tell 'em I'd been there
Door slammed, hospitality's thin there
Wonder just what's goin' on in there

Green Door by i don't have a clue

Try;
If I could make days last forever
If words could make wishes come true
