3 counties in Texas have run out of ICU beds.

That so-called "statistic" is old and tired and will be old and tired the next time you drag it out--which will be, I think, the 131st time.

You have never shown us any causation. You imply that those cities are dangerous BECAUSE they're "run by Democrats" (which isn't true, but let's say that it is for the moment). But all you have is correlation--not causation.

People a lot sharper than you realize that correlation does not equal causation. But I can see how that concept might elude you--especially if you want to jump to a conclusion you like. That's simply poor thinking.

I'm sure that all the cities you're talking about have major league sports teams, lots of Chinese restaurants, and fleets of taxicabs. Therefore, using your strange brand of logic, Chinese restaurants cause violence. So do major league sports teams, and we'd better get rid of all those violent taxicabs.

I am talking about the most dangerous cities in the United States - not about any of the other items you added to cloud the issue. Causation? DemocRats "leadership and policies" are the causation.

Yer Ma know you're on the computer again, Davee-boi?

Support that statement. Prove that Democratic leadership CAUSES the problems you mentioned.

It will not be enough to show that those cities have problems and that they are "run by" Democrats (still bullshit, but I'm cutting you some slack here). You have to show a causal link, and then tell us how that link operates. It won't be enough to say that you hate liberals blah blah.

You understand what I mean. However, to defend your silly point, you'll have to keep pretending that you don't.

Another misleading stat from MP.

The study is outdated written in 2013 & uses data from 2006.

It only looks at deaths, while ignoring crimes such as rapes, mugging, car thefts, home robberies, assaults etc.

Factor in those crimes & the numbers change significantly.

Tom hath decreed that a study's conclusions are "outdated" and therefore invalid! It must be such a burden to have to rule on the validity of every study ever published! Where does Tom find the time?

It's SO amusing to see our Trumper mental midgets struggle with concepts they have no hope whatsoever of understanding.

NY shootings & other crimes are up significantly in 2020 over 2019; that is why mp's nearly 20 year old data is irrelevant.

The Texas Children's Hospital is equiped for these cases, NY nursing homes were not.  In addition, there was no warning in NY, the patients were just dropped off & the homes were not prepared.  Thus the thousands of deaths.

Interestingly the TDS crowd ignores the increases in California & Washington.  Are those governors murderers also?

Kevin says "Tom hath decreed that a study's conclusions are "outdated" and therefore invalid!-- Therefore, are we to conclude that the Earth is indeed flat, and not round, as believed by-Several pre-Socratic philosophers believed that the world was flat: Thales (c. 550 BC) according to several sources,[25] and Leucippus (c. 440 BC) and Democritus (c. 460–370 BC) according to Aristotle-?

Sure Tom a Children's Hospital staffed with pediatricians and equipment sized for children is prepared while nursing homes that specialize in giving incapacitated elderly patients medical care was unprepared.

That makes no sense whatsoever. The nursing home would have known every step of the way what was going on. They would have known exactly what their residents were diagnosed with and what their prognosis was. That is how nursing homes work. Somebody at the nursing home would have signed off on it every step of the way from the transfer to the hospital to when they accepted the patients back.

In spite of this - "That makes no sense whatsoever. The nursing home would have known every step of the way what was going on. They would have known exactly what their residents were diagnosed with and what their prognosis was. That is how nursing homes work. Somebody at the nursing home would have signed off on it every step of the way from the transfer to the hospital to when they accepted the patients back." ---1000's of these nursing home residents died, many needlessly, because of Cumo's murderous mandate. There is no way you can honestly rationalize the actions of Cuomo - he is a murderer.
