47 Republipig Senators vote to continue the Turd War

It is a war, obviously, and Trump called it that. There are such things as undeclared wars, and the Constitution says they are illegal.

Don't know your American values very well, do you? Yet, you pitch insults when people school you on your ignorance of them.

Trump isn't the first President to fight an illegal, undeclared war. Vietnam was definitely a war, wouldn't you agree? But it was never declared.

Any military action between the United States and another nation  is known as a conflict until it is designated a "war" by congress. Congress has not designated the present conflict the U.S. has with Iran as being a "war" - therefore, it is rightfully designated a "conflict". Do I have to school you on everything? For one who "thinks" they are smart, you sure are ignorant .

So you're saying we're not at war with Iran, because if we were, Trump would be violating the Constitution? Therefore, you have to call it a "conflict," because you have to excuse Trump?

Guess what. He's called it a war dozens of times. You're probably the only person on the planet who's calling it something else.

But I know you don't believe what you're saying. I know you're just being Millerscum, that internet troll who infests LVA.

How dense are you? Until Congress designate the conflict with Iran a "war", it remains known as a "conflict".

No, Congress doesn't "designate" military actions. It DECLARES wars on other nations, whether or not a military action is occuring or has occured.

The Iran war is known as a war. That's what the entire world is calling it. That's what Fox Nooze is calling it. How is it NOT a war?

Or are you saying Trump is lying when he calls it a war?

You could answer the above question without pitching an insult, because when you do that, you're weakening, not strengthening, your argument. But I fear you're not capable of rational discussion.

I'm not going to reply to whatever your response is. Please include an insult. You truly can't control yourself.

You are still wrong. Read the Consitution, then come back and apologize.

I have read it. Several times. There's nothing that grants The President the power to unilaterally conduct military conflicts.

That power lies with The Congress.

The framers wanted separation of powers for a reason. They didn't want one man to be able to start military conflicts with other nations.

The framers didn't even want us to have a standing army.

Article 2 of the Constitution grants the executive branch and President their powers. You should read it for yourself and show me where it gives the President the power to have military conflicts. (Spoiler alert it doesn't).

Or do what you normally do and ask Google's AI chatbot to do your thinking for you.

The legislative branch chooses when and with whom we have military conflict, The executive and president then ciduct those operations.

We are supposedly a Republic we are not a monarchy. It appears you prefer Trump to be king rather than president.

Actually there is.

The tenth amendment reads:

"The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."

in other words, The federal government, including the president, do not have any powers that are not granted to them by The Constitution.

You have to remember that The starting point for the federal government is zero powers. Then the Constitution grants certain powers.

You've refuted and schooled Miller, so now, it's time for him to insult you. That's what he always does when he runs out of gas.

It's an important concept, one that Trump definitely doesn't understand and maybe Miller doesn't either: it's not "I can do whatever I want" unless he's specifically stopped by Congress or the courts; it's the other way around. The President has ONLY those powers SPECIFICALLY granted to him by the Constitution. So the default setting is "you can't," not "I can."
